We have spent time looking for the best places to go kiteboarding during the winter. We have found Costa Rica to have one of the most consistently windiest warm water places to sail. Check out some video here

Jeff and Emily are looking forward to being your hosts and guides at The Kitehouse Costa Rica! They have been visiting Bahia Salinas for over 3 years in the winter and operating Kite Wind Surf in the San Francisco Bay Area the rest of the year! Friendly, fun, safe, & responsible, Jeff and Emily are true "Hydrosapiens" and foster a sense of family in kiteboarding and windsurfing.

What kind of riders go?

Normally intermediate ,advanced, expert.

Intermediate - a rider that can get up on the board and go in 1 direction good, and a bit harder on their other, no up wind skills yet.

Advanced - can stay up wind and is starting to jump, good kite control, launches and lands with proper technique.

Expert - can do tricks, stay up wind, and is completely self-sufficient
